1. Who We Are

KubeAgent is a product of Retime Software Inc., a company incorporated in Ontario, Canada.

2. What We Collect

We collect the minimum data needed to provide and improve KubeAgent:

• Account information — email address, name, and hashed password when you register.
• Billing data — processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID but never your card number.
• Incident metadata — diagnosis requests from the CLI are routed through our servers to the AI provider (Anthropic) so we can measure token usage and enforce plan limits. We do not log, store, or inspect the content of these requests or responses — only anonymous usage metadata (token counts, model, timestamps) is recorded. If you encounter an edge case and choose to share incident details with our support team for debugging, that is entirely opt-in — you must give us explicit permission before any incident data is stored on our infrastructure.
• Usage data — API token consumption, models used, and request timestamps.
• Telemetry — anonymous, non-identifiable data such as CLI version, operating system, architecture, and Node.js version. This helps us understand adoption and prioritize platform support. No cluster data, credentials, or personal information is included in telemetry.
• Integration tokens — Slack webhook URLs, PagerDuty routing keys, Discord webhook URLs, Microsoft Teams webhook URLs, and other webhook endpoints you configure. Stored encrypted at rest.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

• We never collect or store your kubeconfig or cluster credentials.
• We never have direct access to your Kubernetes cluster.
• The CLI runs locally in your environment — credentials never leave your machine.
• We do not log, store, or inspect the content of your diagnosis requests or AI responses. Requests are proxied through our servers for billing only — the payload passes through and is not retained. Incident data is only stored if you explicitly opt in for edge-case debugging support.

4. How We Use Your Data

• To provide AI-powered cluster diagnosis and remediation.
• To track your token usage and manage your subscription.
• To send notifications through your configured channels.
• To improve the product based on aggregate, anonymized usage patterns.

5. Third-Party Services

• Anthropic (Claude AI) — diagnosis requests are routed through our servers to Anthropic's API. We proxy the request for billing purposes but do not log or store its content. Subject to Anthropic's privacy policy.
• Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
• Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, PagerDuty, Telegram — notifications are sent through these services when you configure them.
• PostHog & Plausible — cookieless web analytics on our public pages. We collect anonymous event-level analytics such as page views and explicitly instrumented CTA clicks. PostHog uses a random localStorage identifier to connect an anonymous visit to a later signup; automatic interaction capture and session recording are disabled. No tracking cookies are set, and public-page analytics do not include cluster data. Subject to PostHog's and Plausible's privacy policies.

6. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on infrastructure we manage. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. All connections are encrypted via TLS. Database access is restricted to application-level credentials only.

7. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. Usage records (token counts, timestamps) are retained for billing and audit purposes. We do not retain incident logs on our servers — if you have opted in to share incident details for debugging, that data is deleted once the support case is resolved. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us.

8. Your Rights

9. Cookies

The KubeAgent dashboard uses a session cookie (token) for authentication. Public pages use cookieless analytics and a random localStorage identifier for anonymous funnel measurement. They set no tracking cookies, and automatic interaction capture and session recording are disabled.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the dashboard. Continued use of KubeAgent after changes constitutes acceptance.
